- NEON is a continental-scale ecological observation facility sponsored by the National Science Foundation (2012-2047) to gather and synthesize environmental and ecological data on the impacts of climate change. NEON will collect data for 30 years and offer publicly accessible data and information products for research and educational use.
- Collaborate closely with the science team of PhenoCam Network from the Richardson Laboratory at the Harvard University and the Front-end/Back-end developer & Education teams from the Zooniverse, home to the internet’s largest, most popular, and most successful online citizen science projects;
- Design an Internet-based citizen science & crowd science project for phonology monitoring and develop multiple task design and workflows for imagery identification and annotation; (SeasonSpotter.org)
- Develop website and educational materials to introduce PhenoCam Network, Phenology, Crowd Science, and phonological image annotation;
- Evaluate and research on the user experience and user performance on a crowd science project.
